Hi, my name is Ava, and my husband Cody and I are on a journey to grow our family.

For over two years, we’ve been trying to have a child. What we thought would be a natural and joyful experience has instead become a journey filled with heartbreak, waiting, and uncertainty. Each month has brought hope, followed by disappointment—and it’s a feeling that’s hard to put into words.

After exploring our options, we’ve learned that IVF is our best chance at having a baby. Knowing there is a path forward should feel hopeful—but the reality is that the cost is something we simply can’t manage on our own.

We both work hard and have a stable income, but because of past financial hardships, we’ve been denied financing for treatment. It’s incredibly difficult to be told that your dream is possible—but just out of reach.

Our home has always been full of love. Over the years, we’ve cared for rescue dogs, giving them safety, comfort, and a second chance. Loving and caring for them has only deepened our desire to become parents and share that same love with a child of our own.

We dream of the little moments—the first time we hear “mom” or “dad,” bedtime stories, family holidays, and building a life centered around love and connection. Right now, that dream feels so close, yet so far away.

We are starting this fundraiser because we truly cannot do this alone. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to IVF and the chance to finally become parents.
